Elementor isn’t always the right tool, and it’s worth being upfront about when it is and isn’t:
Elementor makes sense when you need frequent content updates, a team member editing pages without a developer, or a faster build timeline without sacrificing design quality.
Fully custom code makes sense when you need functionality Elementor genuinely can’t deliver cleanly — highly custom logic, advanced integrations, or performance requirements that push past what any page builder can offer.
Many of my projects actually combine both: Elementor for the editable, content-driven pages, and custom PHP where the project needs it. That’s part of what makes a site both fast and manageable.
